This section is for any miscellaneous photos taken at work or on one of the many events and excursions Virata is kind enough to send us on. Since I don't generally have my camera at work, this page will probably be fairly slow to fill up!

The phantom beep...

"Shhhhh! Be vewy, vewy qwiet! I'm hunting weally odd beeps!" This picture illustrates how easy it is to distract a bunch of engineers - just persuade someone's motherboard to produce a very faint beeping sound at random intervals, and wait until someone notices. From left to right: Guido, Rich, John and (just visible as a glimpse of black T-shirt) Matthew did eventually track it down to John's computer, but we never did figure out exactly why it felt the need to sit there beeping to itself... Haunted PC, perhaps?

Rich Hides

Spotting my camera, Rich dives desperately for cover... Or perhaps he just wanted to examine the large fuse panel hidden in there.

Oh he's not stoned really... He always looks like that. Well perhaps not quite like that... Notice that Rich is still evading the camera.
