Another sunny Saturday, so I went for a stroll along the river towards Waterbeach. The flowers were out in force, and so were the rowers.

This bridge forms the finish line of The Bumps, a quirky university boat race carried out a few times a year – over the years, it’s been decorated with the results. |

I noticed that someone had fixed the graffiti that changed the meaning of this message somewhat. Shame they made such an obvious job of it, though. |

A particularly picturesque lock on the Cam near Milton. I can imagine enjoying lazily drifting through places like this on a narrowboat – must get around to a canal holiday some time. |
